Mclaughlin's Class' Skits

In the first skit, a boy was waiting for his date to show up, and when she did, she acted like a slob.  So in the end, he ended up leaving with his new date, the waitress.  I thought that this skit was alright, and kind of funny at the end.

"Peanut Bowling" had two boys bowling, and having a good time with it, when someone throws a peanut at them.  They dont see who it is, so they continue.  Again, a peanut is thrown at them, and they dont see who it is.  The third time they do see the perpetrator and attack him in a rage.  I liked this skit, but the restrictions of violence in school prevented it from being more entertaining.

The third was a monologue about being a punk.  And how people treat you if you are one.  This was alright, but it seemed more to follow the stereotypes of a punk, and how people treat them, instead of how it actually is in real life.

The fourth was another monologue, in the time period of the late 1800s, early 1900s.  A lone cowboy vampire goes from town to town sadistically killing and feeding off of townspeople that wander off alone.

The next monologue starred Ben Hanlon as a genie, and I was actually involved in the skit.  He spoke of the hardships of the genie, and the boredom of living in a lamp.  He gave the lamp to me and cackled, once you take the lamp from a genie, you replace him.

Another was about a woman beaten by her husband.  She was sent to an asylum because of it, even though it wasnt her fault.  She said she could leave him for a better man if she wanted to, but the problem was, she didnt want to.  She loved him, even though he beat her.

The second last skit was a monologue starring Chris Wolflinger, as a semi crazy person obsessed with a broom.  He said he could mould worlds, and make people do his bidding, all with his broom.  This was by far the most entertaining and funny skit I saw all day.

The last skit was "Girl" Guides, and was about two "Girls" who posed as girl guides, and instead robbed the old man as soon as he pulled out his wallet.  I have a video trailer for it underneath here, so check it out.

Christmas

Christmas, to me, is family coming together for a month of joy and peace.  Not to mention all the giving and  the wonderful home cooked food.  For some, Christmas is about decorating your home, Like my grandparents' house below.
Or their tree.
And the happyness from giving or getting a gift.  Like me, here, getting Xbox Kinect.
